A suite of three screenprinted and patinated brass panels: Figure Ground, Icara Rising, Parade were made in conjunction with four self-portrait photographs: Lady, Baby, Diva, Queen.
They aim to locate a transgender narrative within a domestic arena. The brass panels conflate two autobiographical narratives which occurred synchronously over a five-year period: the construction of a transgendered sense-of-self combined with the DIY transformation of a domestic kitchen.
